Braces move teeth into the right position using gentle, continuous pressure. Crowded, overlapping and protruding teeth are not only a cosmetic problem: they trap plaque where a brush cannot reach, which is why crooked teeth so often come with repeated decay and bleeding gums.
Bright Care is a dedicated implant and braces clinic, and we treat both children and adults. At the first visit we take photographs and an X-ray, show you what is causing the crowding, and give you a written plan with the duration and total cost before you commit to anything.
Your options
- Metal braces — the most economical and the most versatile; they can correct almost any case.
- Ceramic braces — tooth-coloured brackets that are far less visible, popular with working adults.
- Clear aligners — a series of removable transparent trays; nearly invisible and taken out to eat, though they depend entirely on you wearing them 20–22 hours a day.
Retainers matter
Teeth have a memory and will try to drift back. Wearing the retainer we give you at the end of treatment, exactly as instructed, is what keeps the result for life. We include the first retainer in the treatment cost.

Braces & Clear Aligners (Orthodontics) — common questions
Around 12 to 14 for most children, once the permanent teeth are through. But there is no upper age limit — a healthy adult of 40 or 50 can be treated just as successfully.
The teeth feel tender for two or three days after fitting and after each adjustment. It is a dull ache rather than sharp pain and soft food for a day handles it.
For mild to moderate crowding, yes. Complex bite corrections are still handled more predictably with fixed braces. We will tell you honestly which your case needs.
Roughly once every 4 to 6 weeks for an adjustment, each visit taking 15 to 20 minutes.
